Flag Football Planet is an independent authority hub for competitive flag football — men's and women's, from high school through college, pro, and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
The Sport by the Numbers
Our Mission
Flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States — girls' high school participation has grown +388% since 2020, the NCAA has designated women's flag football an emerging sport, and both men's and women's flag football will debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Yet no single destination owns the data and authority layer for competitive flag football.
Flag Football Planet aims to be that destination: a credible, data-forward platform covering standings, scores, teams, players, and rankings across every tier of the sport — alongside the editorial coverage needed to understand the sport's historic rise.
We are explicitly both-gender in our coverage and visual language. Flag football's growth story is inseparable from the growth of women's and girls' participation, and our platform reflects that from the ground up.
Data Methodology
Data Sources
College standings, scores, and statistics are sourced from NAIA official records and conference-level reporting. All data is verified against primary sources before publication. Flag Football Planet does not publish unverified or estimated statistics.
Rankings Methodology
National rankings are compiled using a points-based system that weights win-loss record, strength of schedule, margin of victory (capped), and head-to-head results. Rankings are updated weekly during the competitive season. The full methodology document is available on request.
Data Coverage
At launch, Flag Football Planet's live data covers NAIA college flag football — women's. High school, pro, and Olympic data will be added as those tiers publish structured data. Narrative coverage of all tiers is available from launch.
