How It's Played
5-on-5 or 7-on-7, no tackling — defenders pull a flag to end the play. Fast, skill-driven, and low-cost to start, which is exactly why schools can stand up a program in a single season.
The College Pathway
High school is the on-ramp to a real college game. NAIA and NJCAA already sponsor women's flag football, and the NCAA has named it an emerging sport — so today's high schoolers have somewhere to play next.
