2026 NAIA Women’s Flag Football Season Recap
A look back at the 2026 NAIA women’s flag football season — Warner’s undefeated run to the NAIA National Invitational title, the final conference standings, and the records that defined the year. Every standing and superlative below is drawn from the 205 completed games Flag Football Planet tracked across 32 NAIA programs in 8 conferences. For the live table, see the full college standings.
Warner runs the table
Warner finished the season unbeaten and won the NAIA National Invitational, defeating Keiser 13–6 in the final at IMG Academy, Bradenton, Florida on May 7–9, 2026.
The invitational was the season’s postseason showcase — not yet an official NAIA national championship. Women’s flag football becomes the NAIA’s 30th championship sport in 2026-27, so the 2026 event was the sport’s invitational precursor to that first full championship. For what official championship status means, see our NCAA & NAIA flag football explainer.
Warner’s title ended a run of five straight championships by Ottawa (Kan.), which remained one of the strongest programs in the country. Below are the final standings and the numbers behind the season.

How we built this recap
Standings, point totals, and the season records above are computed from Flag Football Planet’s own record of completed NAIA women’s flag football games and are updated as the underlying data is refreshed. To keep every figure NAIA-specific, records are drawn only from games between the NAIA programs we track; a handful of non-NAIA opponents that appear in the raw schedule are excluded.
The NAIA National Invitational result — Warner’s 13–6 win over Keiser at IMG Academy, Bradenton, Florida on May 7–9, 2026— and Ottawa (Kan.)’s prior title run reflect the NAIA’s published results for the season. We do not publish individual player statistics for this season while our player data is being validated.
